orchestra
For children aged 7–17 and their families. Together, we learn rhythm, explore music from around the world, and create an orchestra where every voice matters – even if it doesn’t yet speak Polish.

PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION
The program includes a regular cycle of percussion instrument workshops (including djembe, castanets, bongos, darbuka) and learning rhythms from African, Middle Eastern, and European traditions, together with their cultural contexts. Workshops are led by Ivan Vyrypaev and Vanda Konisevich.
The sessions focus on rhythm and its regenerative power and include individual work, improvisation, and multi-layered group structures and “orchestration” using various instruments.

The program consists of 5 workshops / mini-concerts with master instrumentalists:
M. Sobczak-Kotnarowska – hammered dulcimer
M. Bonza – djembe
K. Taran – bandura
A. Emamgholi – daf
J. Jędrasik – electronic percussion

The orchestra tour began in Warsaw and continued in Leszno and Lublin. In each city, during a two-day stay, the following took place:
-
2 joint workshops (preceded by online meetings)
-
integration sessions
-
music therapy workshops for families and group caregivers.
