I-ONE

I-ONE
I-ONE is a human encounter in the age of artificial intelligence.
An exploration of consciousness, identity, and the nature of free will, where ancient memory speaks to the future and one question remains: what does it mean to be human?
MEDIUM VERSION / CONCEPT + STORY WORLD
I-ONE is a human encounter in the age of artificial intelligence.
An exploration of consciousness, identity, and the nature of free will, where ancient memory speaks to the future and one question remains: what does it mean to be human?
At the centre of the story is a contemporary Medea: a woman trying to live with what she has done, what she has lost, and what she can no longer bear.
Around her is America in 2050, a world where even the darkest human actions and the deepest forms of suffering have found a technological answer. I-ONE, an artificial intelligence neuro-program, offers relief, order, and a way to go on. All it requires is correction. The closer I-ONE comes to saving her, the less clear it becomes where correction ends, where she begins, and what is meant to remain.
