PRZEPRASZAM ZA MÓJ POLSKI

 

Iwan Wyrypajew, twórca kultowych sztuk takich jak „Tlen”, „Pijani”, „Słoneczna Linia” i laureat Nagrody Festiwalu Filmowego w Wenecji, po raz pierwszy napisał sztukę po polsku – o istocie języka.

Jeden z najważniejszych głosów współczesnego teatru powraca z projektem, który przełamuje nasze przyzwyczajenia, poczucie tożsamości i sposób myślenia o języku. 

Premiera odbędzie się 28 listopada 2025 roku w siedzibie Fundacji TEAL HOUSE 

w Warszawie. Za reżyserię odpowiada Mihail Poniatowski – młody reżyser i jeden 

z showrunnerów projektu, który nadaje spektaklowi świeżą, dynamiczną i nowatorską formę.

Język jako zwierciadło świadomości

Czy naprawdę rozumiemy to, co mówimy? Jak język, którym się posługujemy, formuje nasz sposób myślenia, widzenia i odczuwania – świata, siebie i innych ludzi? „Przepraszam za mój polski” to spektakl, który przenosi język z codzienności na scenę i pozwala zobaczyć go jak nigdy dotąd – w ruchu, w konflikcie, w śmieszności i w pięknie. Wyrypajew 

z charakterystycznym dla siebie humorem i czułością pokazuje, że słowa to nie tylko komunikaty – to emocje, przekonania i świadomość ubrana w dźwięk.

Jedną z głównych inspiracji dla spektaklu stały się osobiste historie osób – szczególnie artystów z doświadczeniem migracyjnym mieszkających w Polsce – które są opowiadane poprzez humor, ironię i refleksję nad tym, jak język staje się przestrzenią spotkania, ale też nieporozumień. Na scenie aktorzy grają językiem. Mieszają rytmy, tony, błędy i pauzy, tworząc żywą, pulsującą materię. W efekcie powstaje teatr świadomości, w którym słowa nie tylko opisują rzeczywistość, ale ją współtworzą.

To zaproszenie do uważnego słuchania – innych i siebie – oraz do refleksji nad tym, jak poprzez język rodzi się nasze postrzeganie świata.Na scenie pojawiają się błyskotliwi młodzi aktorzy różnych narodowości, kultur, korzeń i językowych systemów – każdy z nich wnosi własną energię, rytm i sposób mówienia o świecie:

            •           Nilufar Nazarova – aktorka, modelka i influencerka o niezwykłej charyzmie 

i scenicznym magnetyzmie.

            •           Ifeoma. A Ukwuoma– aktorka, tancerka i choreografka łącząca elegancję 

z odwagą ekspresji.

            •           Katya Egorova – aktorka i producentka, znana z wyrazistej obecności 

i emocjonalnej głębi.

            •        Benjamin Diamouténé – aktor, tancerz i dziennikarz radiowy, którego rytm 

i energia wnoszą nowy wymiar performansu.

            •           Gena Wyrypajew – aktor i reżyser, którego subtelność i precyzja budują duchowe centrum spektaklu.

Ich spotkanie tworzy mozaikę głosów, dźwięków i tożsamości, w której język staje się żywą materią – narzędziem komunikacji, eksperymentu i porozumienia. 

Fundacja TEAL HOUSE

Założona przez Karolinę Gruszkę i Iwana Wyrypajewa Fundacja TEAL HOUSE od lat tworzy projekty artystyczne i edukacyjne, które badają relacje między kulturą, językiem 

i świadomością. Celem Fundacji jest budowanie przestrzeni spotkania — tam, gdzie różnorodność staje się źródłem zrozumienia, a sztuka narzędziem empatii.

 SORRY FOR MY POLISH

Ivan Vyrypaev — acclaimed author of such cult plays as Oxygen, The Drunks, Sun Line and winner of the Venice Film Festival Award — has written a play in Polish for the first time, turning his attention to the very essence of language.

One of the most influential voices in contemporary theatre returns with a project that challenges our habits, identity frameworks, and the way we think about the words we use. The premiere will take place on 28 November 2025 at the TEAL HOUSE Foundation in Warsaw. The production is directed by Mihal Poniatowski, a young director and one of the project’s showrunners, who brings a fresh, dynamic and innovative form to the stage.

Language as a mirror of consciousness

Do we truly understand what we say? How does the language we use shape the way we think, see and feel — the world, ourselves, and one another? Sorry for My Polish lifts language out of everyday life and places it on stage, allowing us to observe it as never before: in motion, in conflict, in its comedy and its beauty. With his characteristic humor and tenderness, Vyrypaev reveals that words are more than messages — they are emotions, beliefs and consciousness wrapped in sound.

The performance draws inspiration from personal stories — especially those of artists with migration backgrounds living in Poland — told through humor, irony and reflection on how language becomes a space of both connection and misunderstanding. On stage, the actors play with language itself. They mix rhythms, tones, mistakes and pauses, creating a living, pulsating material. The result is a theatre of consciousness, in which words do not merely describe reality but actively shape it.

This is an invitation to listen closely — to others and to oneself — and to reflect on how our perception of the world is born through language. The cast features vibrant young performers of different nationalities, cultures and linguistic systems, each bringing a unique energy, rhythm and worldview:

Gena Vyrypaev – actor and director whose subtlety and precision form the spiritual core of the piece

Together they create a mosaic of voices, sounds and identities in which language becomes a living substance — a tool of communication, experimentation and connection.

Founded by Karolina Gruszka and Ivan Vyrypaev, the TEAL HOUSE Foundation has long been developing artistic and educational projects exploring the relationship between culture, language and consciousness.
