AI in Theater – New Forms of Narrative and Audience Interaction

This workshop delves into how AI is transforming theater, placing a strong emphasis on the creation and use of animation powered by artificial intelligence. Participants will explore how AI-generated animations can enhance storytelling, create visually captivating scenes, and elevate the overall theatrical experience. The session will demonstrate how these advanced animations are seamlessly integrated into live performances, adding depth to stagecraft and enabling more dynamic interactions between actors and projected visuals. This workshop addresses the legal complexities surrounding AI-generated art, covering core challenges in copyright law, ownership, and intellectual property rights. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of current and future legal perspectives, preparing them to navigate the ethical and legal implications of creating and distributing AI-generated works.Creating Art with AI – An Introduction to Techniques
Led by: Sylwia Żółkiewska / Artist, AI expert, Culture Shock Foundation
This hands-on session offers an introduction to creative methods for producing AI-driven art. Participants will learn basic techniques to work with AI as a tool in their artistic process, gaining insight into various software and machine learning models that open up new avenues for self-expression and collaborative creation between artist and machine.
Panel Discussion & Foresight Session: Ethics and AI-Generated Art – Social Responsibility

Panelists will explore the ethical implications of AI in art, addressing questions of accountability, transparency, and the societal impact of machine-created content. This session encourages reflection on the responsibilities of artists, technologists, and society in integrating AI into the arts. A 20-minute Q&A segment will follow, allowing the audience to engage in open dialogue with the experts.
